You've always been fond of the little berg you call home.
But now you can really like it.
Lower Macungie Township commissioners announced at its Thursday meeting that township secretary Renea Flexer has put a lot of time and effort into the creation of a Facebook page to provide readers -- expected mostly to be residents -- with information and historical tidbits.
The township expects to keep residents up to date with news, activities and lots more information.
But to get Lower Mac information in your personal Facebook stream, you must "like" it by visiting the page and clicking on that familiar thumbs-up button.
Currently readers will find photos of the townships first commissioners, events and historical tidbits.
There is also one post with a request:
"Kindly keep your comments reserved to civil discussions on official Township matters (legislation, ordinances, public policy, budget, events etc.). Please do not post information of a political or campaign-related nature. Posts which violate these restrictions will be removed."
Commissioner Ryan Conrad announced the township also has a new Twitter account with the handle @LowerMacungie.
