Dinosaurs Arriving at Dorney Park
T Rex is being assembled in a video posted on Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom's Facebook page.
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom has begun installing its Dinosaurs Alive! attraction for the new season.
The park posted the information -- and a video of T Rex being assembled -- on its Facebook page. It said T Rex will be located in the entrance plaza to greet patrons.
The new park attraction is expected to include a series of stationary and automated dinosaur figures -- some 37 in all, according to information disclosed at a South Whitehall commissioners' meeting last September.
Most of the prehistoric figures are expected to be less than 16 feet in height, but there is also expected to be two 35- to 40-foot dinosaurs. The dinosaurs will be viewed by patrons traveling through a themed walking path approximately 2,100 feet long in a 3.3-acre wooded area behind and to the west of Steel Force, the park has said.
