Festive balloons, pretty dresses and eager children filled the Lower Macungie Community Center for a first-ever event for the township, "Breakfast with the Easter Bunny" on Saturday.

The event began by energizing the children with a lesson in the "Bunny Hop" followed by a breakfast of cereal, juice, muffins and fruit.

The Easter Bunny mingled as the children played "Easter Bunny Bingo" and colored special Easter-themed worksheets.To conclude the morning, children lined up for a personal photo with the Easter Bunny. Each child received a pencil and a Frisbee.

The event was planned by the Lower Macungie Community Center Recreation Department.
