Emmaus beat Freedom 47-44 in a close Lehigh Valley Conference Championship game Friday night Allen High School's Milo Sewards Gym.
Emmaus hasn't won a league championship in five years. This win makes the Green Hornets (21-3) the No. 1 seed in the District 11 Class 4A playoffs.
Freedom finished the season 20-4.
