Garden Tools, GPS, Sirius Radio and More Stolen in Lower Mac

iPhone and car registration also missing.

Police might do well to look for a homeowner with a well-maintained lawn when looking to solve a recent theft in Lower Macungie Township.

James C. Doherty of 938 Brookside Road on March 3 reported two chainsaws, a leaf blower and a pressure washer among items stolen between March 1 and 3, according to . The equipment was value at $750.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Pamela Hysick, 27, of Catasauqua at 6714 Lower Macungie Road; a GPS and Sirius Satellite Radio were taken from her vehicle between 9:30 and 11 p.m. March 8, police said; $350 estimated value.

Criminal mischief: Reported by a 53-year-old woman and a 65-year-old man; driver's side door of a 2005 Mercury Mariner and 2005 Audi A6 damaged by a BB gun between 3:10 and 3:20 p.m. March 9 near Lower Macungie Road and Willow Lane, police said; no damage estimates given or details whether the vehicles were parked or being driven.

Theft from motor vehicle: Reported by Kathryne Elizabeth Fones of Macungie; registration plate stolen from vehicle between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 5 while parked at Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., police said.

Theft: Reported by Christopher Becker of Emmaus; black iPhone taken from bleachers in gym at 3400 Brookside Road between 3 and 4:30 p.m. March 5, police said; no value given.

Theft/fraud: Reported by Edward McClain of 2061 Strathmore Drive; fraudulent charges on his bank credit card between Jan. 1 and March 3, police said, totaling several hundred dollars.

Criminal mischief: Reported by Andrew Louis Haja at 6640 Pioneer Drive; window screen covering small basement window was cut March 8 or 9, police said.

Criminal mischief: Reported by Kathy Laubach in the 4800 block of Hemlock Street; mailbox damaged between 12:10 and 12:30 p.m. March 9, police said.

Criminal mischief: Reported by Eileen Venetz in the 7400 block of Catalpa Drive; mailbox post damaged between 4 and 6 a.m. March 9, police said.
