Police Find Gun at Scene of Crash
Police say gun owner also had an active Protection-from-Abuse order.
It's an unusual day when being involved in a traffic accident is the least of your problems, but that was the case recently for a Northampton man.
Troy Zepp, 32, was in a collision at 2:40 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Wal-Mart shopping center at 1091 Mill Creek Road in Lower Macungie Township, according to state police at Fogelsville. But, when police arrived to investigate the accident, they noticed that Zepp had a gun in his vehicle, and he had an active Protection-from-Abuse Order against him.
Zepp was arrested and charged with contempt for violation of an order or agreement, police said.
