Update: Cocoa Has Been Found!
The miniature poodle mix was found Tuesday evening after days of sightings in and around Lower Macungie Township.
Cocoa, the 5-year-old miniature poodle mix was recently adopted by Emily Bonney from the Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, has been found.
Bonney said Monday that Cocoa slipped his collar and ran away the very day she adopted him.
"He had no visible ID on him, but he is microchipped. He was last seen near Sauerkraut Lane in Lower Macungie late on Saturday night, July 14."
He had also been seen near Hidden Valley Road, and in Trexlertown near Rt. 100 and Church Lane.
"Unfortunately he is very hard to catch," she said when he was lost, "Because he runs away when approached and is very scared of people. Before I adopted him he was a breeder and apparently lived in a crate his whole life.
"He is very sweet and does not bite or bark, he is just shy and scared," she said.

I saw my neighbours chasing a dog that looked like this earlier and was told that somebody with a crate grabbed him. Hopefully he's going to find ihis way to the owner.
This was on Pembrooke Lane in Pulte.

I am so relieved cocoa was found. My husband had a sighting of cocoa yesterday evening and was so upset we couldn't catch him. We actually spent an hour last night driving through the neighborhood with a flashlight trying to spot the dog. Just so glad the dog was found and had a happy ending!!!
