Lehigh County Commissioners approved a resolution Wednesday night honoring the Salisbury High School baseball team for its best playoff run in its history.
The team made it all the way to the PIAA Class 2A state championship at Penn State before losing to Riverside in the final. The county resolution, sponsored by Commissioner Glenn Eckhart, who graduated from Salisbury, praises the team's District 11 Class 2A title as a "source of pride for their school district, community and all of Lehigh County."
