More Christmas Lights Severed in Lower Mac
Fourth incident in three weeks is sure to have Santa making a list and checking it twice.
If it's true that Santa really is watching who's been naughty and nice, then one or more people had better like coal.
Specifically, somebody has been messing with outdoor Christmas decorations in Lower Macungie and Santa isn't going to like it.
The most recent reported incident occurred overnight Tuesday at 3838 Rittenhouse Road. Resident Nathan Chaney told state police at Fogelsville that someone cut several strands of his outdoor Christmas lights between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. No value was given.
The incident was at least the fourth such report since at least Nov. 26, according to police reports.
The others were as follows:
-- light strings cut Nov. 26 outside 6701 Mink Road;
-- lights vandalized Nov. 26 by unspecified means at 2611 Fieldview Drive;
-- and light strings cut Dec. 6 in the 2200 block of Four Seasons Boulevard.
The acts are considered criminal mischief and, come Christmas morning, perhaps not all of us will find a bounty of presents underneath the Christmas tree.
