Obituary: Charles Paul Stubbe, 60, of Allentown
A memorial Mass for Charles Paul Stubbe will be held Saturday, Sept. 22 at noon at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Salisbury Township.
Charles Paul Stubbe, Jr., 60, of Allentown died on September 5, 2012 after a valiant 13-year battle with cancer. The husband of Dr. Deborah A. Stubbe, they were married 33 years on June 23.
Paul was born on Sept. 21, 1951 in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late Charles Paul Stubbe Sr. and Marjorie Mae (Arnhold) Stubbe. He was a GIA graduate jeweler and designer for over 38 years. He owned and operated Charles Paul Gem Designs in South Whitehall, with his wife, Deborah and his devoted staff. Paul was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Salisbury Township.
Wife: Deborah Ann, Son: Christopher Jon and Daughter: Jamie Mae, companion of Don Barnes and his daughter Riley Barnes, Sister: Dianne Orlando, wife of Joseph and nieces Jennifer and Jessica, wife of Adam Thompson. Father and Mother-in-law: Francis and Eleanor Knoble and Sisters-in-law: Linda Stephan, wife of Michael, nieces Madison and Taylor; Patricia Schadt, nephews Jon, Nate and Austin; and Sandra Tapler niece Tatum. Aunt: Joan Miller: Cousins: Sue wife of Chris Grumblatt, daughter Olivia, son Luke; Matthew Miller (deceased); Jennifer wife of Al Nocentino, sons Michael and Jesse.
Memorial Mass on Saturday, Sept. 22 at noon at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Salisbury Township. The family will receive relatives and friends following the Mass in the Family Center of St. Thomas More. Funeral arrangements are by the Sell-Herron Funeral Home and Herron Crematory, 1145 Lehigh St., Allentown.
