There are few more bucolic slices of Americana as the Macungie Farmer's Market on its opening day, June 7, 2012.
With music by Bob Hafner of Reading playing softly in the background, shoppers enjoyed wine from Vynecrest Vineyard as they shopped for fresh vegetables, bread, dog treats, baked beans and salads and more.
The market is open 4-7 p.m. every Thursday through October in Macungie Memorial Park.
