Police: Party-pooper Gets Harassment Citation

Township man threatened to assault another guest, police say.

A Lower Macungie Township man was the life of the party on Sept. 3, but not in a good way, according to police.

Joel Raymond Fenstermaker, 39, of Hunt Drive, confronted a man at the party held at 3772 Knight Drive in Lower Macungie, according to state police at Fogelsville. Fenstermaker threatened to assault Scott James Phillips, 51, of White Haven, Luzerne County, just after midnight.

Police did not specify the type of party, but Fenstermaker left with a lovely parting gift -- a citation for harassment for his efforts, according to police. The citation was filed with Magisterial District Judge Michael Faulkner of Upper Macungie Township.
