Police: Stolen PlayStation Recovered

Police say they caught up to man who left store without paying for video gaming system.

There's a Pennsylvania Lottery slogan that says, "You have to play to win."

Perhaps Nintendo or Radio Shack should modify that to say, "You have to pay to play."

Apparently that wasn't obvious Jan. 6 to an Allentown man whom police say made off with a PlayStation 3 game  system from the Radio Shack at 1091 Mill Creek Road in Lower Macungie.

Anthony Garcia of 123 N. 3rd St. left the store about 4:45 p.m. without paying for the game system, according to state police at Fogelsville. He was seen leaving the area in a Ford sport-utility vehicle. A vehicle meeting the description and bearing the proper license plate was stopped and the merchandise recovered.

Garcia was charged with retail theft, police said. The Radio Shack website shows a retail value of $250 for the game system.
