Retail Theft Remains Lively in Lower Macungie

The following information was supplied by state police at Fogelsville.

 

State police at Fogelsville reported the following recent incidents in Lower Macungie Township:

Charged: Suleyka Arroyo, 22, Leslie Ortiz, 25, and Yalitza Ortiz, 20, all of Allentown; May 28 with retail theft; stole $342 worth of clothing from Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., police said.

Charged: Ahmed Kaba, 20, of Reading; May 28 with underage possession of alcohol at Route 222 near Krocks Road during traffic stop, police said.

Charged: Anthony Daniel Floryshak, 22 of 2022 Brook Circle; May 30 with unauthorized use of an automobile; Daniel Floryshak, 55, of the same address reported the incident; investigating troopers at the residence saw the accused returning the vehicle, police said.

Charged: 17-year-old Breinigsville boy; May 27 with retail theft at Wal-Mart, 1091 Millcreek Road; headphones, air soft gun and T-shirt totaling $67 stolen, police said.

Retail theft: Video game controller and cell phone taken from Wal-Mart, 1091 Millcreek Road May 27; man ran from store and avoided apprehension described as Hispanic, in early 20s, wearing a navy blue T-shirt, red basketball shorts with a black stripe down the side, red baseball hat, black shows and socks and tattoos on his neck and left arm, police said.

Chaged: 16-year-old boy May 30 at Wal-Mart, 1091 Millcreek Road; took a  web-cam from its packaging, placed it in his pocket and attempted to leave store without paying, police said.
