Of course Ryan's running for reelection. The realtors need to maintain their majority on the board so they can continue the proliferation of overdevelopment and keep their real estate commissions rolling.
Each new development proposal should be evaluated based on the benefit(s) to the community as a whole and the lifecycle costs of the project (including infrastructure improvements) should be the sole expense of the developer. Of course the board of realtors would never do this to their developer buddies. It's easier to place the burden on the township residents.

You are correct, they, the realtors, feel they need to maintain control, the real sorry part is that not enough of the voters in LMT will or are paying attention and they will probably reelect some of these realtors.
