Someone Tries to Drill Into GameStop
But they didn't get in, police say.
The folks at GameStop in Lower Macungie are usually in a playful mood but weren't laughing recently when they arrived at work to find that someone had drilled two holes in a rear security door, according to police.
State police at Fogelsville classified the incident as criminal mischief, but the incident at the 1042 Mill Creek Road store occurred between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. March 7 or 8, leaving open the possibility of an attempted break-in. Apparently, entry was not gained. Police did not provide a damage estimate.
GameStop primarily sells video games and gaming systems.
