Subway Says Footlongs Won't Come Up Short
Subway pledges foot-long sandwiches will be 12 full inches following complaints from two men in New Jersey
Macungie residents who like to enjoy a footlong from Subway can rest assured that sub will be a full 12 inches, according to a new pledge from the fast food chain.
Recently, news spread of a lawsuit filed by two New Jersey men who said they measured 17 Subway Footlongs and all of them came up short.
Subway has responded to the allegations, pledging it will work to ensure all sandwiches are in fact 12 inches.
Subway provided the following statement to the Chicago Tribune:
"We have redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve. Our commitment remains steadfast to ensure that every Subway Footlong sandwich is 12 inches at each location worldwide."
Our local Subways are located at 1091 Mill Creek Road in Lower Mac and at 325 E. Main St. in Macungie.

Oh my goodness. Sounds like two guys that seriously need to get a life. I barely have enough time to eat lunch during my day, let alone measure my sandwich to make sure it is exactly a foot long. Maybe they are taking out their anger on Subway because something "else" they measured came up a little short as well?
