Thief Runs Off With Four Pairs of Shoes
Customer makes off with four pairs from Famous Footwear in Lower Macungie store, police say.
Will the other shoe drop for the thief who walked out of Famous Footwear recently without paying for four pairs?
Certainly a Lower Macungie Township shoe store is hoping the loose ends can be tied up to not only catch the thief but, hopefully, deter others from doing the same.
According to state police at Fogelsville, a customer -- not described in the police report -- made tracks in leaving the store at 6900 Hamilton Blvd. after picking out four pairs of shoes to their liking at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 14. No value was given.
Whether the individual does any soul-searching and turns themselves in is doubtful, so police will have to rely on video images or a any witness taking a shine to the store's plight by calling 610-395-1438.
