Beer Kegs Disappear From Buckeye Tavern
Sixteen empty beer kegs are stolen from the popular eaterie, police say.
"Beer to go" and "self-service" took on new meanings recently at the Buckeye Tavern in Lower Macungie Township as someone helped themselves to 16 empty beer kegs, according to police.
One or more people in a silver car removed seven empty beer kegs from the 3741 Brookside Road landmark bar and restaurant about noon on March 26, according to state police at Fogelsville. Happy with the first load, the same person presumably returned later that night and took nine more kegs.
