Vendors Set for New Sun Inn Farmers Market

The list of vendors announced for new Sun Inn farmers market to open May 8 includes a Macungie-based country store.

 

    A new farmers market to be held weekly in the Sun Inn courtyard in downtown Bethlehem will kick off on Tuesday, May 8 with more than a dozen vendors.

    The market will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Tuesday until October 23.

    The list of vendors for opening day was announced at this week's Donwtown Bethlehem Association meeting:

    Hereford Country Store, Macungie: gourmet quiches, rustic veggie tarts, specialty cake by the slice, cookies, chocolate mousse cups, strawberry shortcake cups, and assorted dips

    Apple Ridge Farms, Saylorsburg: Wood fired brick over artisan breads, pizza shells granola, organic dog biscuits, garlic/radish dip, certified naturally grown produce, hydroponic produce, cut flowers, pasture raised chicken and eggs

    Back Door Bake Shop, Bethlehem: baked goods, jam and jellies, cookies, brownies, seasonal goodies, dessert breads, dog biscuits, etc.

    Bechdolt Orchards, Hellertown: peaches, apples, pears, nectarines, apricots, plums, cherries, assorted vegetables, fruit butters, tomato based products (sauce, ketsup, salsa), apple cider

    Heritage Farm CSA, Nazareth: pasture-raised chicken and eggs, gourmet jams, sauerkraut, applesauce, pickles, pickled beets, fruit butters, herbs and flowers, seasonal fruits and vegetables

    One Brew Kombucha, Bethlehem: Providing the materials and support necessary to brew Kombucha.

    Cranberry Creek Farm, Cresco: goat cheeses, fresh and aged. Raw Milk, yogurt, fudge, caramel sauce, pork, goat meat, produce.

    Frecon Farms, Boyertown: cherries, apricots, plums, blueberries, peaches, nectarines, pears, apples, raspberries, sweet cider, hard cider, apple wine, peach wine, fruit butters, cider applesauce, dried apples.

    JumbarsBethlehem: lunch items, specialty sandwiches, breads, jams, pastries and more.

    M&B Fairview Farm, Berks County: All-natural meats and dairy products, corn-free, soy-free grass-fed beef, free range chickens, dairy

    Stryker Farm, Saylorsburg: pork tenderloin, sirloin chops, ribs, butt shoulder roast, etc. 

    True Blue Farm, Bangor: heirloom tomatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, string beans, tomatillos, cantaloupe, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash, sweet corn, sweet peas, onions, honey, pumpkins, ornamental gourds, fresh flowers and harvest décor.
