Wheelchair Stolen from Lower Mac Front Yard, Police Say

Two oxygen tanks are missing as well. Troopers report that it's possible these items were mistaken by a 'garbage picker' for curbside trash.

If you took a red and black wheelchair and two oxygen tanks setting in the front yard of a Lower Macungie Township residence recently because you thought they were discarded trash, you were mistaken.

If you took the same red and black wheelchair and two oxygen tanks in the same front yard that evening to simply to steal them, good luck looking yourself in the mirror tomorrow to shave.

Either way, the rightful owner would appreciate their return.

The equipment belongs to Patricia Fern Hendrickson of 4277 South Drive, according to state police at Fogelsville. The items were taken between 6 and 7 p.m. March 10.

Police are investigating the missing items as a theft, but note that they might  have been mistaken as curbside trash. However, this was not the intention.

Police did not give a value for the items.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-395-1438.
