The night couldn't have been more perfect as the fiery ball of sun set over Macungie and Emmaus.
Restored cars, trucks and even a moped cruised the main streets as crowds anxiously awaited along the sidewalks, some an hour or two prior to the event.
Tires could occasionally be heard as they "burned rubber" in a show of hot rod masculinity. Fortunately, no car fires erupted this year.

Nice article. Glad to see some clear weather for this annual event. Too often the rain spoilers the day. August brings out the best in automobiles....Fescht & Wheels. Already looking forward to next year.
