Hometown Diner far outranks all the choices on this list!! You forgot Panera. Sorry, Macungie.

Fred, I can add Panera and Gio, but Hometown Diner is in Upper Mac. Sorry, Fred.

I do know that about Hometown's location, but good choices in LMT are slim indeed. The chains (like McDonalds and Friendly's) shouldn't even be included. The choices are far from healthy, and Friendly's is in desperate need of updating its decor and menu. You forgot Joe's Pizza in Trexlertown Mall, and Mazzola's Italian restaurant.

Hometown is great! But for local LMT restaurants... ABM (anything but Mcdonalds!)
Willows is great in diner category and IMO just edges out Bear swamp which also is great and I eat at both often. Buckeye is great also and has been getting better and better lately. Neil Wentz is a great cook. :) Italiano also good look for new buffet coming soon. Any of these locally owned/operated restaurants is better choice then the chains. Vote local!

Hunan Springs has the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is fantastic but it's the friendly and awesome service that keeps us going back frequently! Go Hunan!
