I see censorship in action - my most recent comment is "pending approval"! What is this about?

Just some tweaking of the system by IT folks, Fred. We have no desire to censor you at all. But thanks for asking!

Thanks for the explanation. In light of the Allentown School Board recent fiasco in attempting to censor a student's observations, the "pending approval" signaled perhaps a new trend coming out of the news media.

No, not at all. We may not like or agree with what you have to say, but that's no reason to prevent a comment from appearing. Libel is another case entirely. Profanity is also less than welcome. But opinions, ideas, issues...that's what we're here for!

Moderating is appreciated. Certainly different then censoring. If you ever looked at morning call 'discussion boards' and comments on articles it's always been a forum for the very worse crass awfulness. They do not moderate at all. Moderating (but not censoring) is SO important for maintaining civilized discussion. Gotta filter out the trolls.

That being said.... Fries. Gotta abstain from this one. No one (that I know) has Fries the way I like them. Large cut/Beach/Fair style. Lotsa salt. I know which ones above I don't like.... Never a fan of "chip style" cut fries.
