Who Was She? Burned Body of Woman Not Identified

The woman, whose burned body was found on Chestnut Hill Road, died from suffocation and thermal injuries, according to the Lehigh County Coroner.

 

Police are seeking the public's help to identify a woman whose burned body was discovered Dec. 27 along the side of Chestnut Hill Road in Salisbury Township.

An autopsy performed Friday morning determined the woman died from suffocation and thermal injuries. Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim ruled the death a homicide.

The coroner's office provided the following description:

  • White or light-skinned Hispanic female
  • Brown hair
  • Between the ages of 20 and 40
  • Approximately 5 feet to 5 feet 2 inches tall
  • Approximately 150 – 175 pounds
  • Tattoo on right side of neck with the inscription of "J A V I "
  • Yellow metal hoop earring, approximately 2 inches x 2 1/2 inches
  • Woven-style bracelet with “Puerto Rican Flag” beads

She may have been wearing:

  • Gray sweatpants
  • Underwire-type bra
  • White ribbed cloth, possibly a white sock
  • Red-colored shirt
  • Black, tightly woven clothing material

    Salisbury Township Police Chief Allen Stiles said they are seeking to hear from anyone who may have information about a missing person. The police may be contacted at 610-797-1447 or the crime tip line at 610-402-2400.

    rest in peace-someone out there knows who you are-such violence against women-why?-gang rape in India of a young medical student, a woman's burning body, a few months ago another woman found dead in the woods-so senseless

    I hope they find the bastard. That poor woman in India died was crazy. You would think violence against women would had come to an end in this day and age.

    What does it have to do with specifically violence against women? If a man was killed like this no one would be going around saying "violence against man should not be happening in his day and age". You don't even know who did it... it may have been a women for all we know. If you think women don't have equal rights it's because people like you think that women deserve MORE rights than men.

    Honestly, very best of warm wishes, from my family to yours.

    Let's hope, if only to protect people in the future, that the people responsible first realize what a really horrible thing they did, and are captured to keep them from doing so again.

    Jenni i miss you and love you , never used the word friend until i met you , never knew you would turn out to be my best friend we did everything together , i wake up now and look over and youre not here , im broken words cant explain my pain </3 this is why im leaving Reading PA whoever did it had to of tried to cover it up by taking you all the way to allentown and yes they were smart but this is not going to stay like this Jenni i promise you that , i look at all of out pictures and cry and cry jenni i miss you and i love you and i know youre watching over me RIP JENNI :'(
