This article from the Nazareth Patch might as well be a crystal ball for what's coming in LMT.
Lower Nazareth Residents Sign Petition to End Illegal Truck Traffic
After watching 34 tractor-trailers travel down Hanoverville Road -- and over a bridge with a posted weight limit -- in Lower Nazareth Township in one month, Laurie Ehasz paid another visit to the Board of Supervisors. This time, she brought a petition signed by her neighbors, imploring the board to take action.
“I don’t know what to do anymore,” she said, adding that the problem will only worsen when the Greenfield Industrial Park moves in at the intersection of Hanoverville Road and Keystone Drive.
Already we have tractor trailer related issues on our streets. Remember, this is just the beginning. The fact is enough warehouses are already in the pipeline to effectively double the tractor trailer traffic in our township.
Tractor Trailer hits Lower Mac Barn:
From the Comments: tamarya 6:32 pm on Friday, June 8, 2012I used to live in the mobile home right there on the other side of schoeneck. Take a look how trucks destroyed that yard also. 18 wheelers come through there and try to turn when they cannot. We lived there in that mobile home 5 yrs and lets just say we would have never replaced that home with an 80 foot or they would have destroyed our house also.
Remember, there are options to building warehouses in cornfields. Places where these needed buildings make sense and would be an asset the community. Where they aren't 10 miles away from interchanges. Where the infrustrtucture already exists and the taxpayer isn't on the hook for policing services and maintanance, and where tractor trailer traffic is appropriate. (Not a residential suburban township)
Alternative to warehouses on Prime Farmland
Our BOC has a certain vision for our township. You get a glimpse of what it looks like by reading the above article from Lower Nazareth. Is this what the community wants? Is this what you want?

I wonder if any soccer moms and their vans full of kids will get creamed by the trucks going to the new warehouses as they try to escape from the LMT playgrounds before the trucks run them down.
