Last week I tried the Chipolte Macaroni and Cheese from Hereford Country Store. It was its first time at the Macungie Farmer's Market. It had a kick to it, but I loved it. First Lisa Morton developed the Cheesesteak quiche, now the Chipolte Mac N' Cheese. I just might have to purchase both. Lisa always offers good eats at her stand.
This week at the Market, Linda Conrad will be sharing her enthusiasm for pressed flowers, nature and inspiration by offering a free Flower Pounding workshop.
Did you know that you can transfer the color from flowers and leaves onto fabric by beating them with a hammer? Linda will be demonstrating the art of Flower Pounding at the Market 4 - 6 p.m. next to the information booth in beautiful Macungie Memorial Park.
Stop by and try your hand at this craft by making a floral picture on a small swatch of cloth. You will be surprised at the beautiful artwork you can create.
See you at the Market Thursday!
