At the Feb. 21 meeting of the Senior Citizens Club of Lower Macungie Township we welcomed the LMT Deputy Treasurer, Pat Vassilaros, who spoke on the recent decision by the Lehigh County Commissioners to reassess the homes in the county.

Pat spoke on the recent information she received from Greg Fedak from the Lehigh County Assessment Office. She outlined the various steps a county resident needs to take should he or she wish appeal the new reassessment.

Pat also noted that any resident can go on the Lehigh County website and download a copy of the latest reassessment amount.     

We seniors are very appriciative of Pat taking time out of her busy schedule to come and help us understand our rights as citizens of the Lehigh County.
