Hawaiian Lua is organized by the Alburtis Area Community Center Pool and the Alburtis Police Department.
Games, music, door prizes, pineapple-eating contests, free pork barbecue sandwiches (served beginning at 3 p.m. and while supplies last). Raffle tickets for 2013 family pool pass available.
Bring an unexpired canned good to be donated to the Allentown Food Bank and receive $1 off admission.

Alburtis Area Community Center provides a balanced and comprehensive range of quality recreational and educational programs for young and old. Facilities include a public swimming pool, ballfields and a community center building. Activities include bingo each Friday from October through April. The center is available to rent for activities including wedding receptions and banquets.
