Nor'easter Ends With Coating of Snow: Wednesday

Exercise caution when heading out on your holiday travels.

By Daryl Nerl

The Nor’easter that made life chilly and soggy on Tuesday will do more of the same today.

The National Weather Service predicts that we could get another inch of rain before we are done with this storm.

It will start out a little warmer, with temperatures in the 40s, but a stiff northwest wind will drop the temperature into the 30s by 5 p.m. Some time after that, the rain could switch to snow, but the accumulation should be no more than 1/2 an inch.

However, with all the moisture and a temperature dropping below freezing, the roads could become treacherous on one of the biggest travel days of the year. Exercise caution.
