Tucked between and The Shoe Box in the Kmart Shopping Plaza on Tilghman Street, the offers made-to-order Mexican fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This casual eatery is locally owned and operated, and pledges to use only fresh ingredients, prepared and chopped daily.
The menu is not extensive (mostly burritos, tacos, nachos and some sides), but because diners choose exactly which combinations of meats, vegetables, condiments and sauces they want in their custom-made orders, the possibilities are vast. Breakfast burritos—available until 10:30 am Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sundays—can be filled with any combination of egg, cheese, potatoes and meats (chicken, sausage, bacon, steak and chorizo). For lunch and dinner, the basic burrito is a tortilla filled with cilantro-lime rice, beans, salsa, sour cream and cheese, and the staff builds them on the spot with chicken, ground beef, shredded beef, fish, shrimp or a vegetarian mix. Even non-vegetarians may be tempted to try what the Burrito Grille admires as “the Green Goddess of Goodness,” fresh guacamole.
Patrons may dine in or carry out. For folks in a hurry, the Burrito Grille offers a downloadable order form that can be faxed ahead, and the order will be ready for pick-up. Catering is also available.
