Is Costco ever coming to Lower Macungie Township?
The much-talked-about Costco development project has gone through several starts and stops over the past year and it remains to be seen whether the project is dead.

Who will become the new superintendent of schools in East Penn School District?
Thomas L. Seidenberger announced his plans to retire as superintendent of East Penn School District in September

Has the 2014 Lower Macungie budget opened up a "slippery slope" as far as property tax goes?
In December, the Lower Macungie Board of Commissioners passed a 2014 budget Thursday night that reinstated a property tax in the township.

Should Lower Macungie Township have its own police force? 
A consultant told the township that Lower Mac saves $4 to $5 million a year by not having its own police department. The police department issue will likely pop up again if the Commonwealth implements a fee structure for municipalities that rely on the services of the Pennsylvania State Police Department.

What happened to Holly Grim?
Missing Lower Macungie resident Holly Grim was last seen on Nov. 22 and there have been no new developments in the case, according to PA State Police. A bowling benefit for her family is planned for Feb. 8.
