The 48th annual Das Awkscht Fescht celebration this year focuses its attention on that classic hot rod, the Camaro.

Crowds began arriving on foot when it opened at 6 a.m. on Friday, and the cars started rolling in at 7:30 a.m.

Many more arrived Saturday morning for the festival which is the main source of support for its venue, Macungie Memorial Park. The cars, toys and arts and crafts are here until 4 p.m. today.

Sunday's featured element is the Antique and Special Interest Car Club Show comprising more than 1,000 vintage autos.
