Easter Eggs-travaganza

There was plenty of fun among several events in Macungie the day before Easter.

Macungie was busy with Easter-themed activities this past Saturday. With events for all ages, it was a great way to spend time with family.

A special guest visited the With big floppy ears and a giant smile, the Easter Bunny was the hit of the day. Child after child lit up at the sight of him, and eagerly waited for their chance to pose for a picture for mom and dad with him. The bunny was a fan of hugs and high-fives and there were plenty to go around

also held an egg decorating session; participants dyed hard boiled eggs with brightly colored dyes, and carefully decorated them with small cotton swabs. A myriad of colors and styles were nestled into egg cartons, ready to take home as a souvenir of the day.

held their annual egg hunt. Held inside because of the weather, children lined up with baskets, ready to get their chance to find an egg. Hidden in two areas, even the most elaborately hidden egg was found by the eager little hands. Candy prizes were given out at the end to each child.
