Five Things to do This Weekend

1. Restaurant Week at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley

Where/When: Through Feb. 24 all of the eateries at The Promenade Shops, 2845 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley, are offering truly luscious lunch, dinner and dessert menus for a fraction of what they usually go for.

Why Go: Prix Fix three-course meals at some of the fine dining establishments at The Promenade. Specials also available at the casual dining spots as well. And watching all those aliens chasing aliens and explosions and stuff is going to make you hungry.

Pricing: Ranges from $5 for lunch at Red Robin to $39 for dinner at Shula’s Steak House.

2. Moby Dick! The Musical

Where/When:  8 p.m. Feb. 18-19 and 2 p.m. Feb. 20 at Cedar Crest College, 100 College Drive, Allentown.

Why Go: Support young actors: The college Performing Arts Department is committed to producing premieres and original works by new playwrights.

Pricing: Adults $15; Seniors $10; Students $5

3. Cats

Where/When: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at the State Theatre, 453 Northampton St., Easton.

Why go: Because the musical is a classic.

Pricing: $50-$55.

4. Feed the Birds

Where/When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Visitor Center, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton.

Why go: Because spring is in the air -- even if it's temporary -- and it's something to do outside.

Pricing: Activities are free, though trail fee applies for adults and seniors.

5. Kids Exploration Day

Where/When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at America on Wheels, 5 N. Front St., Allentown.

Why Go: Activities throughout the day; includes “Ice Cream Making for Kids of all Ages" from 1-2 p.m. in the HubCap, an authentic 50s soda fountain.

Pricing: $7; Seniors $5; Students $3.50; Children 5 and under, free.
