Gathering for Ben Albro Today at St. Anne's Episcopal

Ben always had a smile, friends say, and he had the knack for making others smile, too.

A gathering for Ben Albro, the Emmaus High School junior who was killed Thursday, will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Trexlertown.

Albro, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene by Pennsylvania State Police shortly after 7 p.m. after the car he was driving flipped on its roof near 6477 Palm Road in Lower Milford Township.

Friends remembered the boy's love of hockey and of the rifle team in a Morning Call story.

They also remembered his curly red hair, his easy smile and his ability to make others smile, as well.

St. Anne's Pastor, Father Michael, posted the invitation to the gathering Friday on Albro's Facebook page:
