Get Out: Five Things to do This Weekend

There's no shortage of things to do this weekend: We have a fair, a movie, a ball game, a concert and a yummy breakfast!

1.The Great Allentown Fair

When/Where: Noon to 11 p.m. through Sept. 4; noon to 10 p.m. Sept. 5 at the Allentown Fairgrounds.

Why Go: It's the crowning jewel in the summer's fest parade, and it means it's time to roll out the pumpkins. The annual homage to agriculture and tatoos is probably the only place you'll ever see an entire building labeled "Cavies." This year's grandstand shows include Bruno Mars, Journey, Foreigner and Marc Anthony.

Pricing: Between the food and the rides, it depends on how much fun you're willing to have. Show tickets start at $25.

2. Live at Riverside: The Large Flowerheads

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Riverside Park, between the bridges on Larry Holmes Drive in Easton.

Why Go: If you like the music of the 60s, this is the band you want to hear.

Pricing: No cost.

3. Buffalo Bisons@Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs

When/Where: 6:35 p.m. Sept. 3 at Coca-Cola Park.

Why Go: Because even if you don't like baseball, there are awesome fireworks after the game.

Pricing: Tickets start at $6.

4. Breakfast Buffet

When/Where: 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 4 at the Lower Milford Fire Company.

Why Go: Because the breakfast is pure homemade goodness, and it's another sign that summer's over and fall is coming.

Pricing: Adults, $8; Children 6-12, $4.50, Children 5 and under, free.

5. Bridesmaids

When/Where: 9:30 p.m. Sept. 2-3 at the

Why Go: It's been showing for eight weeks now. That should tell you that if you haven't seen it, you should!
