Laura Erle: Remember That Name

Each week, Lower Macungie Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments.

Name: Laura Erle.

School : Sophomore at Emmaus High School.

You may see it sometime in a playbill listing her as an actress or a dancer or maybe a singer—or all of the above.

Accomplishments: Erle's favorite class is English.  She is also a member of both the SGA (Student Government Association) and drama club.

However, it is not English she plans to pursue following high school.  Her future plans include the musical theater—performance, of course, and possibly teaching someday.

Key to Awesomeness: This multi-talented Lower Macungie resident enjoys singing, acting, dancing and playing the piano.  After school, she takes dance lessons and voice lessons to further her knowledge.

Her extra-curricular activities include practicing with an all-girl a cappella singing group at Emmaus called AccaBella.  She also has a supporting role in the school’s musical, Phantom of the Opera, as Meg Giry. As Giry, Erle will do some ballet, singing and acting.

So, remember that name – Laura Erle.  You may be able to say, “I knew her when…”
