Lower Macungie Fire Department Dedicates Brandywine Station

And firefighters perform a traditional housing by pushing the new firetruck into the station.

Locals and well-wishers from neighboring firehouses turned out May 14 for the official building dedication of the Brandywine Station in Lower Macungie, the second fire station for the township.  

In addition to dedicating the building, the new firetruck for the station was ceremoniously housed, and a memorial garden was dedicated to fallen firefighter Nicholas Caldarelli. The garden was assembled by Boy Scout Ted Swanson of Macungie.
