Macungie Could Win $100,000 Green Grant

By recycling household trash, Macungie residents can help the borough win a $100,000 grant.

The borough of Macungie has been chosen to represent Pennsylvania in a recycling contest that could mean a $100,000 grant from SC Johnson to put toward a local sustainability project.

The contest tracks the recycling efforts of only one community in each of the 50 states.

The purpose of the SC Johnson Green Choices Recycling Challenge is to increase household recycling participation.
