UPDATE: Storm Will Hit Farther South

Winter weather advisory cancelled; only 1 to 2 inches of snow expected.

Winter Storm “Titan” won’t be quite as bad as they said.

The National Weather Service has revised its predictions for the area. The winter weather advisory that was in place for the region has been revoked, replaced by a hazardous weather outlook.

That simply means that the storm won’t be as bad as so many said.

Rather than the dire predictions some had made, we likely will see only 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation.

At times this weekend, predictions of up to 10 inches of snow had been made.

It will be extremely cold Monday evening, with temperatures reaching 15 below zero with the windchill.
