Christmas at the Log House

Lower Macungie Township Historical Society's eighth annual Christmas Open House at the historic Bortz log house.

Walk up the luminaria-lit path from the parking lot to the house, and step back into the nineteenth century.

The house will be decorated with a traditional German Christmas tree, featuring natural and handmade ornaments. Candles in the windows to light the rooms after dark. Colonial-style open-hearth cooking in the kitchen. Warm spiced cider, cookies, and conversation.

Both floors will be open for tours. Historical Society members will answer your questions.

Free and open to all, but not accessible to those in wheelchairs.
