This year’s MACUNGIE HOLIDAY sponsored by Macungie’s Town Beautification Committee will be held on Saturday, December 10 from 9 am – 3 pm and features fun activities for every member of the family.  Events will be held rain or shine as most activities are inside.   Events will include:

 

  • ·                  Free Holiday Trolleys to locations throughout the Borough
  • ·                  Horse drawn wagon rides throughout Macungie Memorial Park
  • ·                  Breakfast with Santa at Grace Lutheran Church
  • ·                  Story Time, hot chocolate and cookies at Macungie Christian Community Church
  • ·                  Crafts for Kids at Solomon’s United Church of Christ & their Chili & Bake Sale at Macungie Institute
  • ·                  “Nutcracker Highlights” performed by Coral’s Academy of Dance students at Eyer Middle School at noon & 2 pm
  • ·                  Gingerbread Contest Display in the Barn at  Kalmbach Memorial Park
  • ·                  Holiday Craft Show at Macungie Memorial Park Building
  • ·                  Holiday Crafts at Macungie Institute, including Macungie Farmers Market Vendors
  • ·                  Holiday Photos with pets available at Macungie Animal Hospital and Macungie Memorial Park Building
  • ·                  Special Train Displays at Macungie Historical Society & Boy Scouts Room at Macungie Institute
  • ·                  Decorate Christmas Stockings or Hats at Macungie Volunteer Fire Department Station
  • ·                  Children’s Holiday Party with Santa at Macungie Fire Company Hall
  • ·                  “Home for the Holidays” artisan crafts in the beautiful Victorian home at 20 W. Main Street
  • ·                  Santa & Mrs. Claus and “Jasper” Macungie’s Bear Mascot at Macungie Institute 1 – 3 pm
  • ·                  The popular “Holiday Scavenger Hunt” for all ages at participating businesses & other locations
  • ·                  Crafts for Kids at various locations
  • ·                  Strolling entertainment featuring Eyer Middle School Band Members and Vocal Ensemble Members
  • ·                  Special promotions at participating businesses and other family activities throughout Macungie
