Yes, Michael Bolton Coming to Sands Event Center

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday.

Progressive rock icons Yes and pop star Michael Bolton have both been scheduled to play concerts at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, range in price from $45 to $65 and can be purchased at sandseventcenter.com, the Event Center box office, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or by phone at 800-745-3000.

Yes will appear at the Event Center on Saturday, April 5 at p.m. Bolton will appear on Friday, May 30 at 8 p.m.

Pioneers of progressive rock, Yes have achieved worldwide success with a history spanning 45 years and 20 studio albums. The band’s current line-up consists of singer Jon Davison, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White, and keyboardist Geoff Downes.

During its 2014 World Tour, the band is performing three of its most popular early albums in their entirety: “The Yes Album,” “Close to the Edge,” and “Going for the One.”

Michael Bolton is a multiple Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and social activist, who has sold more than 53 million records around the world.

To date, Michael has seen eight studio albums rank in the Top Ten, with nine #1 singles. Bolton has just released his autobiography, “The Soul of it All,” as well as a new studio album “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough: A tribute to Hitsville USA,” collaborating with Motown legends Smokey Robinson and Valerie Simpson, as well as contemporary artists such as Kelly Rowland and Leona Lewis.
