When and how did your business get started?
While working towards my degree at Penn State, I had the opportunity to run my own painting business over the summers. After graduation, I worked for four years in corporate America as an industrial engineering consultant. Once the travel began to escalate, I decided to pursue the dream of starting my own business to be able to stay at home. With my first child on the way, the business could not be risky, so I decided to do something I knew I could succeed in -- a painting business. In our twelfth year of business, it seems to have been a great decision!

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business? 
I grew up in Zionsville (5 minutes south of Macungie) and now live in Macungie. With my local ties and all the new construction and development, it was the perfect match.

What is your business best known for?
Our customer service, reliability and attention to detail allows our business to thrive on repeat and referral work. We specialize in all aspects of interior and exterior residential painting.

We also work with several clients on commercial, industrial and new construction.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?
We were part of a historic renovation of a caboose that sits at the head of the Ironton Rail Trail in Whitehall. This became a "labor of love" of all involved to get it restored back to its original condition, but came out looking amazing. For a company that specializes in residential work, this was something very out of the ordinary for us. But our attention to detail was a perfect match for this challenge -- what a rewarding project it turned out to be!
