Gas Prices Could Jump 20 Cents Per Gallon

Consumers may be experiencing more pain at the pump very soon, with a 10 to 20 cent per gallon increase predicted in the near future.

Be sure to top off your tank A.S.A.P., as NBC news was reporting on Thursday that gas prices could jump 10 to 20 cents per gallon in the next couple of days.

In fact, prices were already beginning to climb Thursday afternoon in some places in Lower Macungie, with the Wawa on Route 100 selling a gallon of regular for $3.39 at 3 p.m. and $3.49 at 7:30 p.m.

Prices at the Turkey Hill at Route 100 and West End Trail in Macungie were $3.45 for a gallon of regular at 2 p.m. Thursday, but could hit as much as $3.65 before Monday morning rolls around if forecasts hold true.
