HOMEJAB FACEBOOK FANS CHOOSE PHILLY'S TOP KITCHEN --New Spin on "Home Movies"--

PHILADELPHIA – October 10, 2013 – HomeJab, Philadelphia-based online marketplace for full-motion videos of home properties, asked its 1346 Facebook fans and their friends to choose the number-one kitchen from five featured in “Philadelphia’s Top 5 Kitchens,” produced by the HomeJab team.

HomeJab randomly selected the “Top 5” from its active listings throughout the greater Philadelphia region including Ambler, Macungie, Queen Village, Society Hill, and West Mount Airy.  The kitchens are found in homes ranging from a $625K listing in Lehigh Valley’s Macungie to million dollar Main Line properties including Victorian Gothic estate, “Saracinesca.”

Nearly one-third (29 percent) of the voters chose the Queen Village kitchen as their favorite, followed by 22 percent for the garden-style kitchen overlooking a pool in West Mount Airy, and 21 percent for the Society Hill kitchen. Macungie and Ambler received 18 percent and 10 percent of the votes, respectively.  HomeJab founder and Villanova graduate Joe Jesuele (profiled on philly.com in August) commented on the results.

House Hunting on Fast Forward!

“HomeJab’s full-motion video experience lets people virtually walk through a house,” says Jesuele. “Video represents an exciting, boundless future for home buying and is the ideal way for the real estate community to market properties,” says Jesuele. “People can use any device to log into HomeJab and ‘walk through’ multiple homes.”  Ten years ago, as people fumbled with the unreliable technology of virtual tours, Jesuele began formulating the concept of a free full-motion video marketplace for realtors and homebuyers.

HomeJab

HomeJab capitalizes on the explosive online video market, the popularity of sites such as Zillow® and Trulia®, and the country’s widespread use of mobile, tablet, and desktop devices to manage purchases.  In early 2014, HomeJab will launch the first-ever, online marketplace for full-motion videos of home properties across the country.
