Forecast: Deep Freeze in Macungie All Week, Then Snow
Daytime highs will be well below freezing in Lower Macungie and Macungie for the rest of the week
There's snow in the forecast along with a big chill that will keep daytime high temperatures from rising out of the 20s for the rest of the week.
An arctic air mass is bringing the coldest weather so far this season -- perhaps even colder than anything we experienced last winter, according to the National Weather Service.
Frigid temperatures at the end of the week will have an added attraction: snow. Though the national weather service offers no accumulation yet, other forecasters are predicting 2-4 inches.
