Heavy Rains Tonight, Tuesday Could Cause Flooding

From Monday night through Tuesday night, heavy rains could cause some flooding in areas with poor drainage, according to the National Weather Service.

Periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms tonight and Tuesday could bring up to 3 inches of rain to the Lower Macungie Patch area, according to the National Weather Service.

NWS has not issued a flood watch, but in its hazardous weather outlook, it warns that some local flooding could occur around streams, city streets and areas with poor drainage.
