Update: Expect Up to 3 Inches of Snow Tonight

The National Weather Service says we could get some snow and sleet Tuesday night into Wednesday.

The forecast has changed, but it still sounds like a night to stay home and catch up on Law & Order reruns:

The National Weather Service now says that tonight's forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of snow, possibly mixed with sleet, mainly after 10 p.m. with a low temp around 30. New snow and sleet accumulation of up to 3 inches is possible.

On Wednesday, there is an 80 percent chance that rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet will continue before 1 p.m. beforea chance of rain. Little or no ice accumulation is expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Otherwise, daytime highs will remain above freezing until Friday.
